Taking a short break from podcasting
After five years of producing regular episodes of Informed Choice Radio, I’m taking a short break from podcasting in December.
To date, my team and I have recorded, edited and published a total of 475 podcast episodes on this channel, including 250 guest interviews.
As we head towards Christmas, I realise I need to take a month off from publishing new episodes, so we can finish off some other projects, and I can turn my full attention to the best format for this podcast in 2020.
We will be recording several new interviews this month, but these won’t be published until the New Year.
One of the big projects on my list for next year is writing a new book. While not quite a book of the show, it will be loosely based around some of the key interviews and topics we’ve covered here on Informed Choice Radio during the past five years.
I’ve had this book on my list for quite some time now; it’s got a working title, outline and a few draft chapters. Now all I need to do is write it and find a publisher!
In the meantime, there’s one new podcast episode coming out tomorrow – featuring The Escape Artist talking about the career crisis which served as his catalyst to create a freedom fund.
My team will be busy searching for more new guests to schedule for interviews in the New Year, and I might dip into our back catalogue occasionally to share a few of my favourite episodes with you.
It feels far too early to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, but do have a good one – and thank you for your continued support as we spread our message of making the most of your money.
If you have suggestions for future podcast guests or topics, do drop me a line in the usual way.
