-The UK faces a “cocktail” of serious threats from a slowing global economy, according to Chancellor George Osborne.

-UK house prices rose by 9.5% in 2015, according to a new survey by the Halifax.

-US presidential hopeful Donald Trump has threatened to withdraw £700m of planned investment in Scotland if he is banned from entering the UK.

-China has stopped stock trading for the second time this week after a 5% market fall triggered new ‘circuit breakers’.

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) have published their latest retirement income market study covering the period July to September 2015.

This looks at data from a representative sample of pension and retirement income providers to understand the choices made by consumers accessing their pensions.

Why do women make better investors than men?

Martin talked about this article from Business Insider and research from Morningstar which found female fund managers in the US get better results than men, despite only being responsible of 2% of assets under management.
